  1. Who is the interviewer?
John P. Farmer

Grady Weldon begins his life as a very successful person. Money was tight for his family after his father died, but he was able to get a good paying job to help support the family. When he was under the age of 18 he enlisted in the navy, and made his way up to Chief Signal Quartermaster, before he was discharged. When he came back from the navy he found the U.S. in the Great Depression. He found it very hard to find a job,all his other good paying jobs were filled by other people. Grady, a once very successful man, found himself very tight with money, as did the rest of the united States. Grady worked in grocery markets, and found himself working other odd jobs. But, luckily one of his friends had a job opening in an insurance company, and was able to give Grady the job. My impressions of the interviewee, is that is is very hardworking. He came from almost nothing and became a very successful person. Even through the depression he was able to eventually secure a job.
